Swing Trading - Recent Winning Trades and Highlights

These are a few of our picks JUST FROM THE MONTH OF DECEMBER 2006 from The Bandit Broadcast Newsletter.  Trading any one of these moves with as little as 100 shares would have more than paid for your membership for the month.  A 500 share trade in most of these would have paid for your entire year, so what are you waiting for?  Even better, we do this month after month!  See our archives for the proof.  Want trading ideas on the long side?  We have them.  Want short-sale picks?  Count on finding them here.  Big winners and small losers are what make us successful traders, so jump on board and expect the same from yourself!

December proved to be a quiet month overall with the market indexes range-bound and very few stocks on the move.  As a result, we had our fewest picks ever for a month of trading.  That's our style though - if the market isn't moving, why force trades?

Here are a handful of the trades we took and the total moves these stocks made after being listed in The Bandit Broadcast newsletter.

Failed Trades from December

Not every pick we select is going to work; anyone who claims otherwise is simply not telling the whole truth!  Our style is big winners and small losers, and we back it up with our stock trading strategy.  Following our strategy would have had you out of these failed trades with minimal losses.  Isn't damage control what you want when you are wrong?  Losing trades are inevitable, but we keep them very small and manageable, making them easy to offset with the winners we locate.  Here are a few of the losses we took in December:

*Please note:  Not all Bandit Broadcast newsletter picks are winners.  Some trades do not trigger, and others reverse and violate their trendlines, which is a technical exit point.  The Stock Trading Strategy page and Trade Rules page acknowledge that losses are a part of trading, but the goal is to minimize losses and maximize winners.  The trades listed above illustrate the types of moves found in The Bandit Broadcast newsletter.  Additionally, with many readers having different timeframes, exit strategies vary from trader to trader.  Day traders may scalp an initial move, while swing traders may have wide stops and distant targets.  The trades listed above were shown during the month of December 2006 in the Bandit Broadcast Newsletter with the shown entry prices before making their moves.
